Itinerary

Day 1 : Transfer from Seville airport to hotel, two transfers will be made, one in the morning and the second in the afternoon (depending on flight arrivals, precise schedule will be set). Around 18:00h welcome meeting with Tour Leader. City Information will be provided to all those who arrive in the morning and want to visit Seville.
Accommodation: Hotel Juanito c/flortes 5, 28025 Sevilla (Meals and dinners not included , except on day 3 in Sanlúcar which is borne by the organization)

Day 2 : Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Dos Hermanas, departure of the route, where we will make the fitting of the electric bikes. This first day of the route will take us from Seville to Sanlúcar de Barrameda by the left bank of the Guadalquivir River, we will ride on paths between marshes and rice paddies finally crossing the Pinar del Algaida before reaching the port of Bonanza in Sanlúcar, end of today’s route. A small snack will be provided in the middle of this route. The historical significance of Sanlúcar deserves a walk after short rest in the hotel, the palaces, noble houses, defensive buildings and historical gardens are mixed with old wineries, from where the soft aroma of Sherry comes off. Difficulty:

Day 3 : On this day we will concentrate in Doñana National Park, the largest bird sanctuary in Europe. After breakfast we will head down by bike to Bajo de Guía to take the barge that will take us to the shore of Doñana. Get ready for an exciting tour on the Park’s beaches. Taking advantage of the low tide we will head towards Matalascañas, we will try to do the 60km round trip but it will depend on the march of the group and the conditions of the sand, in any case an unforgettable experience. Meal in Bonanza (Approx. 30€/person)

Difficulty:

Day 4 : This day we’ll visit Chipiona. We will leave the hotel after breakfast on the way to Chipiona by bike path, we will stroll around the city and we will visit the Lighthouse, the Castle and the corrals of Chipiona (natural monument). We also propose a swim in the Canteras beach near the Lighthouse (carry in the backpack swim suit). The return will be made in direction to Costa Ballena where we will tourn to reach Sanlúcar by dirt roads between marshes and rice paddies. Food in Sanlúcar (Approx. 25o/person)
Our“Bike Tour” today has approx. 45 km (accumulated elevation 125 mtr)
Difficulty:

Day 5 : On this fifth day we will visit Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz. Once the breakfast is finished we will travel by coach to Jerez de La Frontera, we will visit the Cathedral and the Alcazar de Jerez before departing in direction to Cadiz, the route runs most of the time by bike paths. To reach Cadiz we will border the bay and enter the city center visiting the Torre Tavira and the Roman Theatre. Dinner in Cadiz is borne by Rolling 50’s .Departure back to Sanlúcar by bus.
Our “Bike Tour” today has approx. 60km (380 mtr ascent, 700 mtr descent)
Difficulty:

Day 6 : Our last day of the trip we will make a circular route through Sanlúcar, visiting again marshes and rice paddies, we will alternate easy sections with others of some difficulty, in short varied and fun route to finish this Tour. Meal in Sanlúcar (Approx. 30 € not included) In the afternoon Rolling 50’s will provide the members of the group with a sightseeing tour of Sanlúcar.
Our “Bike Tour” today has approx. 60km (268 mtr ascent, 265 mtr descent)
Difficulty:

Day 7 : The trip ends in Seville where we will travel by bus from Sanlúcar to the city center, there are no activities planned for today, it will be the responsibility of each one to organize it´s own transfer to the airport in time to catch the flight.

Trip information

INSURANCE: It is an indispensable condition to book with us, to have the right travel insurance. It is your responsibility to know the scope of the policy contracted by you that must cover all activities including optional activities. Make sure your policy covers the medical emergency for helicopter evacuation and repatriation to your home country.

ADDITIONAL INFO: The organization does not provide with a protective helmet, do not forget to bring it as it is mandatory, however you can rent one for 5 days for 20 euros / week. We recommend bringing a backpack – 15/20 ltr. – camel back type, where you can take with you a raincoat , sunglasses, gloves, sunscreen, water, etc. If you do not bring specific bicycle shoes we recommend hard sole footwear because it better transmits the energy to the pedals. If you are not used to bicycle saddles, we recommend bringing your “gel seat” with you for additional comfort during the routes. It is convenient to bring your knife/fork for possible use during picnics on routes.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Normally in Spain visits to the different monuments, cost of entrance tickets is in the range of 3 to 10 euros. This cost is not part of the cost of the trip

ABOUT THE ROUTES: In this “Bike Tour” we will ride about 300 km (an average of 61 km per day) the routes run along trails, dirt roads and bike paths, some crossings are made by paved road. The Tour Leader will indicate the areas with traffic. No vehicle will accompany the group, however any mishap will be solved by the Tour Leader or, in any case the group will be taken care of. Electric bikes require some experience in their use, during the first day of the route, we will get used to them. Once back at the hotel the battery of the bikes must be recharged in each room by to make sure that by the next day is charged at 100% capacity.
